The transition to Spain was noticeable. Of course the signs were different, but so was the architecture, the materials and the landscape. The streets of this bustling little town of Masnou were very narrow and it took even Allan a long time to maneuver into the tight parking garage (but I’m glad we had a spot).

But the most noticeable change? Miles and miles of unending beach! After settling into the hotel Llar de Capitans, we headed right for the beach. We sat down at the beachside bar and had paella and beer. Aah, this is the life!

To top it off, Allan took some pictures of the local eye candy, some young Spanish men playing beach volleyball.

This was a wonderful way to unwind at the end of the day.
