More camping in Switzerland. This time with a pool!

Camping Vitnau was near a lake and mountains.

We caught up with Cynthia and Jim again after our first meeting 6 years ago. We had admired their Leisure Travel Van while they were at the Lions Gate RV Park in Vancouver. We loved their rig and in less than 20 minutes became good friends. Of course, getting together was impossible as they live in the USA. We kept in touch and when Cynthia realized we would all be in Europe at the same time, we juggled schedules and voila! We spent two great days with them which included Allan’s birthday. Cynthia and Jim own a motorhome which they store in France along with an ingenious trike they tour around on. They continued on their adventures to Slovenia.

We had a fabulous day trip going up the cog rail train to the top of Rigi mountain which was right beside our campground.

The views were breathtaking.

Back at camp, we even had a serious thunderstorm.

We celebrated Allan's birthday with a sunset dinner at an elegant restaurant.
