We could have walked along the Sienne to find the Eiffel Tower. But Allan had a better idea and we walked through the city to come at it from behind. We ended up going in the wrong direction for another mile until we were turned around.
This was the major site on my checklist and I wanted to go to the top. We waited 45 min. in line to buy the tickets (only 16 euros). It was like going through airport security and there was definitely military presence.
We got on the elevator to the 2nd platform and waited in another line for 45 min. to get the elevator to the top. It was high. But it was worth it. The view was fabulous. Check!
