On our way across the water from Powell River to Courtney we met Jean, a young man on a 3-4 month cycle trip. He flew from Mexico City to Vancouver to start. “What is the problem between Canada and Mexico? The United States.” Just kidding. He's on his way to Washington state too.
We went down to the RV show in Nanoose Bay before hunkering down at Qualicum Beach for the night.
Back up the coast to Miracle Beach for a couple of quiet nights.
Then right up into Campbell River for visits with our friends Chris and Bob and Discovery Toastmasters.
Further north to Brown’s Bay resort. Sweater’s ears perked up. He quickly jumped out of the RV and rolled and rolled. Ah! At last! Luscious green grass! It rained for most of our stay but we didn’t care. We had full hook ups and painting and knitting to work on. And it was beautiful!
